    Position:

    Head of Talent Development Management & Recruitment

    Description:

    Reporting directly to Head of HR in Japan, this position is responsible for recruitment, training and development related matters in Japan.

    • Manage & administer plans/programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human assets to best support the business.
    • Act as Business Partner for the President and senior leadership.
    • Develop, guide, and implement local and practices that will recruit employees in line with business needs.
    • Guide and direct recruiting/employment process.
    • Plan, develop and provide employee training.
    • Interface with external people and organizations on HR issues and tasks.
    • Develop replacement candidates responsible for HR activities.
    • Coach (performance coaching, developmental & career coaching), train and develop HR staff.

    Qualifications:

    • 10-15 years of HR management:  Organization and leadership development, mid-career/new grad hiring, employee communication.
    • Understanding and proficiency in HR systems in a multinational company setting.
    • Results-oriented, innovative management style.
    • Demonstrated ability and capacity for recruiting, development and retention of high quality candidates.
    • Fluent English & Japanese (solid command of written and spoken English).

    Preferred:

    • Flexible self-starters with leadership skills and managerial courage who have sense of urgency and have a “Can D0″ attitude, be proactive, and positive.
    • Excellent communication skills both at the day-to-day level and management/executive level.
    • International experience
    • Experience in Change Management
